About the COURSE

It is essential to conduct a routine test of transformer insulating oil in order to eliminate the possibility of disrupted production due to transformer failure or explosion and ensuring a safe working environment By condition monitoring and enhancing these oils to retain their functional properties such as cooling, chemical stability, and electrical insulation; sudden occurring faults can be discovered in time along with the detection of other possible problems including contact arcing, aging insulating paper and other latent faults.

The course Transformer Oil Analysis, scheduled on 10 October 2017, in Berlin, Germany, will provide you with a broad understanding on how oil testing is a proven-loss prevention technique, and why it should be part of any condition-based predictive maintenance program. This course will introduce latest and effective transformer fundamentals, testing types, factors on which oil testing for transformers are done, interpretation of results and industry standards.

Transformer Oil Analysis will guide participants to review traditional and new oil testing procedures, to prioritize maintenance strategy, to calibration of instruments, to best utilize on-line monitoring tools.

Learning Objectives

  • Understanding of how transformer are designed, protected and operated.
  • Knowledge of how to specify and assure the quality of transformer.
  • Insight into transformer maintenance, lifetime estimation and Oil change.
  • Brief knowledge of Oil testing through different methods.
  • knowing Best methods to keep the oil better and long lasting
  • How oil testing, sampling and Analysis are done.
