Our Trainer has over 35 years of experience in design, development and implementation of long-term governance and infrastructure strategies, working for both private consultants and government agencies in Australia and internationally. He has personally managed projects for road authorities overseeing the maintenance management of roads and bridges in South Australia, NSW especially in Sydney as well as the Northern region. He has been on overseas missions with the Commonwealth of Australia in Zimbabwe and Papua New Guinea. B.Sc. Civil Eng. Hons., Middlesex University, United Kingdom; M Eng., Sc., University of Adelaide Australia, PhD Griffith University, Queensland, Australia, Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Australia; Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, United Kingdom; Accredited Certifier, Building Professionals Board NSW Registered Building Practitioner, Victorian Building Authority and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). Our Trainer conducted research in “Traffic Loads for Estimating the Endurance and Residual Strength of Highway Bridges” for his M Eng. Sc. at the University of Adelaide which focussed on estimating the damage due to fatigue loading on bridges. He later continued his research further in loads on bridges and developed a “A Strategy for Upgrading Bridge Infrastructure Network” that will determine required service levels for routes based on service levels of the bridges. He currently as the Managing Director and as Chairman, is responsible for strategy, business development, senior project oversight of Civil, Structural, Hydraulics, Building Services and Infrastructure teams. The business operates primarily in the building and transport infrastructure sectors, with a particular focus on residential, commercial, industrial, education and aged care as well as road and bridge assets. It provides a range of services from design and documentation to inspection, assessment, and rehabilitation of existing assets. |
